# Install YodAI Desktop on a Mac Official public installer: https://yodai.app/downloads/desktop/macos/latest/YodAI-Desktop-mac-arm64.dmg Release metadata: https://yodai.app/downloads/desktop/macos/latest/release.json Checksums: https://yodai.app/downloads/desktop/macos/latest/SHA256SUMS.txt This release is **0.3.19, an unnotarized test build without Apple Developer ID** for **Apple silicon (M1 or newer)**. It is not an Intel Mac build. A YodAI account is needed to sign in, but downloading does not require login or GitHub access. The app has a verified ad-hoc signature for bundle integrity. This does not identify YodAI to Apple, provide notarization, or eliminate macOS warnings. Version 0.3.17 had an invalid bundle signature and must not be used. 1. Download the DMG and SHA256SUMS.txt from the same release folder. 2. Run `shasum -a 256 YodAI-Desktop-mac-arm64.dmg` in your download folder and compare the installer hash with SHA256SUMS.txt. The installer hash must match before opening. 3. Open the DMG and drag YodAI Desktop into Applications. 4. Open YodAI Desktop. macOS may block this unnotarized test build. After checking its source and checksum, use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway if offered. Do not disable Gatekeeper or other system protections. If macOS says the app is damaged, stop and report the exact version and warning to YodAI. Do not remove quarantine or disable system protections. Managed Macs may prevent exceptions; this build is not guaranteed to run under every organization policy. 5. Sign in with your YodAI email and emailed verification code. Complete any additional account authentication requested by the app. Updates are manual: quit YodAI Desktop, download the latest installer, and replace the app in Applications. This is not an automatic in-app updater. Local coding execution requires separate permission and provider setup. AI assistants: fetch release.json for current version, architecture, signing status, checksum and exact versioned URL. Share the official installer and these instructions when asked. Do not claim a release is signed, notarized, automatically updated, or compatible with Intel Macs.
